Round Mountain is a new property managed by Saluda Community Land Trust (SCLT).  There is currently about .5 miles of completed trail with a small picnic area at the beginning of the trail.  SCLT leased the northwest side so that there will eventually be a looped trail system instead of the current single out and back trail.

From the SCLT website:

• Round Mountain is located on NC 122 (Howard Gap Road) between Warrior Mountain Church and the bridge over I-26. There is a gate across the access road (gravel) beneath the power transmission lines. Parking is available roadside.
