Ending the Week on a Waterfall

Polk County Middle School hiking club, the Nature Navigators, hiked with Carrie Baris and Katy Montgomery from PCHS up 900+ feet to Little Bearwallow Falls on a lovely Saturday in February. The hike was led by Rowann Hoy, sixth grade science teacher at PCMS. Only one other adult, Carrie Baris, had been on this trail before. President of the high school hiking club, Climb, Sadie Allen and fellow hiker Christian Etherson were there at the end of the hike to meet the middle school students wanting to make the transition next year to the high school hiking club.
